I received a Deluxe Chrome Shaving Bowl with lid for my husband to use, and he loves it. He said that he was able to work up a good lather to shave his face, so he didn't need to worry about it being dry so there wasn't razor burn.

The lid comes in handy, so you can rinse it out and put the lid on and not worry about any dust etc settling in there in between shaves.
